I've updated the forum software to IPB 1.2 Final. I think all of our customizations carried over OK, but only time will tell for sure. Unfortunately, I'll be out of town for a week, so if something is not quite right, you'll all just have to deal with it in the meantime. I think JohnV will be back online soon, so he might be able to deal with any small problems that crop up, but again, no promises.
Feel free to post any issues with the update here though.
The bug with long posts is still there (tested it with a new post).

Avatar upload seems to be broken.
QUOTE
The upload failed. Please contact a member of staff to help rectify the problem.
The bit with the avatars is known, but I'm not going to fix it just quite yet because I have some plans for a change in functionality regarding avatars and stuff. I won't be able to work on that until I get back though.
Not sure what the deal with the posting bug is.. someone else is going to have to look into that while I'm away.

The red "New Message" sign doesn't seem to have survived the upgrade
Please reenable Jabber support.

Yes, tested again, the long post bug is still present. It seems to be more easily triggered via the Edit function, rather than a new post.
The option to upload a "Personal Picture" in the profile doesn't work [probably the same issue as avatar upload], but I've also noticed that I cannot use an offsite link, it reports the image isn't valid, but it is (

Edit 1: spelling.

The long post bug applies to PMs too - at least it did to the one I just received.
Cheers,
David.

Jabber support
I would also appreciate seeing this added again. And flags, too.

Seems that the Foobar portal never shows me as logged in, even if I am.
Not a big problem since everything is fine again as soon as I go to one of the sub forums. So basically the only issue is the portal displaying the wrong time for last replies, etc. No big deal.

Probably because forums.foobar2000.org redirects to
http://64.246.62.80/~hydrogenaudio.org/ind...act=SF&s=&f=28/ (well it does here)
You dont have a cookie saved for that address and all the links within the forum point to www.hydrogenaudio.org so they will show you as logged in.
Well.. I couldn't replicate the long post bug with a test board even though I overwrote a fresh test board with all the php files and templates of HA, so it's something weird which seems to need a complete reinstall of the forum from scratch (gonna wait Dibrom to get back). Needless to say I'm not gonna add any big Jabber modifications in the meantime, though I'll redo the new messages mod soon since it's no biggie.

Is anyone else having problems with the mainpage when not logged in (i.e. clear your session cookies).
I receive a "The forums are offline for maintenance. Please check back shortly. -- Dibrom" message.

Sounds like you're using the wrong url...
Please don't use audio-illumination.org for the forums here. That domain will shortly be pointed elsewhere and the old server will be taken offline.

And you would be correct, the shortcut in my favorites had not been updated. After I noticed that my proxomitron jump alias worked, I changed it.
Thnx for the info.
