What does 1337 mean? Or l33t? Are they the same thing? And what about pr0n? I know own3d = owned, and n00bz = newbies, and r00t = root, but I'm lost on some of the others. I looked for the answers on bash.org and a few other places, but no joy. In some places people use them and assume you know what they mean, and in other places you don't see them at all. No one ever "defines" these things, though. Most I've gotten from context, I just need help on a few.

Closer to "leet" (yet another slang-ization of 'elite'). Elite is 37337 or 3l337 (eleet) and such...

prOn = Porn = Taped intercourse.
L337 = Leet = Elite.
