I use Eac and the lame compile 3.90.3 raccomanded in this
thread ,
and i was tried the command line in subject, raccomanded for hardware players in this thread ,
but in the dos window of the encoder i can see this message : ***Warning*** the meaning of the experimental -Y has changed!
now it tells LAME to ignore sfb21 noise shaping (VBR).

Can you help me?

Do i wrong something?

Thanks, sorry for my english sad.gif ph34r.gif

Just ignore that message, it says that every time:) It works like a charm.
AstralStorm
It just does what it says - lets LAME ignore most of high frequencies in sfb21 (>16kHz).

Thanks. Then it's OK?

If you don't like seeing this useless message every time you run LAME, just comment it out in the source code, like I did. smile.gif
It's somewhere in libmp3lame/lame.c, and no, you don't have to be fluent in C to be able to find and remove it.

Edit: useless... ehm... I actually meant annoying...
