Let's say I use FLACs replaygain option during encoding.
The replaygain values are stored in the tags, right?
What about the decoded wavs?
Are they the same as the original wavs or is it like you ran WaveGain on them?

Also, why would someone use Ogg-FLAC output instead of native-FLAC?

Hope you don't mind me adding a question too.

I tag my FLAC files using the -T option on the command line encoder which the documentation says adds a "vorbis comment". But when I view the tag information in Case's Tag it says the tag is a "FLAC" tag. When I use Case's Tag to view an Ogg Vorbis file it identifies the tag as a "Vorbis" tag, so I expected it to do the same for FLAC.

Are FLAC tags and Vorbis Comments just two different names for the same thing?
