I log in perfectly normal, the board sais I'm logged in.
then, when I try to post something, or if I change from the portal to one of the sub-forums, I get unlogged again!
this is not always the case though, but it happens like 8 out of 10 times
I have to log in again almost evertime I perform such an action (weird though not always again...)
am I the only one with such problems?!
is this an issue of the forum-software, or due to some bad settings on my site?

(I use IE 6 with all patches, set on standard security (middle), cookies enabled, plus winxp sp1)

This must be something on your end because I've not encountered the problem on any of the systems/browsers I've used.

Make sure you have cookies enabled, I can remember countless times when I wasn't seen as logged in due to the fact I had cookies turned off. Something else that may help is to delete your browsing cache.

as I said, cookies are enabled...
I clear my browsing cache like every 15 minutes , so no error from there...
*sheesh*, I guess I have to just do a new loosedows install, the first after 14 month of smooth running...

edit: problem solved!! I had some weird virus on my sytem that nav didn' recognized... it somehow fucked up my internet-connection *Digga jumps and with flying fingers tries to find another virus-scanner*.
