Full Version: 48hz or 44,1.....joint or normal stereo ?

I have 3 music cds to make mp3.....i will convert it to 192kbps

But there's two options that i dont know how to choose

Its 44,1hz or 48 ???

Joint stereo or normal mode ???

What ripping program r u using?
I doubt u r using EAC (recommended ripper)
and LAME (recommended encoder)...

Search the mp3 section for better encoding options.
LAME 3.90.3 with the "--alt-preset standard"
switch would be a better choice than plain cbr 192kbps.

Cobrakai, the FAQ can also give you many informations.

I tell this because in many forums, the link "FAQ" redirects towards a Forum tutorial : how to subscribe, how to post, etc. But not here. The HydrogenAudio FAQ is a compilation of the most informative discussions that happended in this forum.

Yeah, but if he insists on 192kps I would recommend abr192 instead cbr192
