If there will be working and reasonably fast H264 AVC standard implementations near the release of "Q", I think DivXNetworks is in big trouble..

Pretty interesting article. I think DivXNetworks has been strugling since going commercial, and I don't think this will help. Who knows though, maybe they'll start a H264 implementation of their own.
A lot of people use DivX, and many of them are using Dr. DivX and the DivX Player so maybe for the regular public, this will take off. For all of us though that are really into video and audio, I think we'll be jumping on the Matroska bandwagon.
BTW, the article's in German, so use Babel fish (altavista) to translate it (poorly).
