It seems that the RG peak limiter does not kick in when using the disk writer. I'm using 0.7 RC8 on a Windows XP system. Yes, "use replagain" is ticked.

Can you explain what exactly you are trying to do and what isn't coming out right ?

I tested again and it doesn't matter if I use the amplifier (Preamp) or not - the "use peak info to scale down..." option doesn't work with the diskwriter.

What I'm trying to do? I'm trying to burn a CD that is as loud as possible without clipping. With previous versions I solved this by maxing out the RG amplifier and ticking the aforementioned option. Now that doesn't work (the tracks aren't limited but clips heavily). I'm using track gain if that makes any difference.

Ok, I solved the problem by rescanning the files...
