I've been trying to nuke database with v0.7 RC8 and cannot seem to get it to work. Same holds for single file selections (remove from database) from within a playlist.
Is it because I have several tabbed playlists showing and DB will not clear until all playlists are cleared or deleted?
Tried a re-start of both fb2k and computer. No luck.
Note: What started this was tagging a few files and updating info. However files were not tagged like I wanted so I re-tagged to original condition from another program and tried to remove them from foobars database. Though foobar still shows the files as it had re-tagged them. Load info from file didn't do it either.
Maybe something I missed?

Erm, all database info is stored in playlist files too, so if what you really want is to reload info from some file, no point trying to nuke database. Use "reload file info" rigthclick instead.

Tried the right click thing. It wouldn't work because the files were also in a 'Main' library playlist. Clearing all and then reloading did the trick.
Had a feeling the other playlists were keeping a check on that.
Thanks.

Well, I thought I had it figured out. Database still seems to balk at clearing itself out. Been trying the files (just 2) in question alone with no other entries and it still will not do it. No playlists are being shown besides this one.
NOTE: uninstalled foobar v0.7 RC8 and dropped to v0.7 beta 45 to see if that would help. Nope.
Reload info from file is, for some reason, not reloading like I'd expect it to. Should it not read the tag info? I know the files in question are back in the original state (note:MC also keeps metadata and I have the ability to re-tag that way) before I messed with their tags in foobar. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why this is happening.
There has to be something I'm doing that is wrong, just can't nail it down.
I think it's yet another case of files having multiple tags in them, and only one of tags being read (hint: see what tag.exe shows).

Figured it out. Thanks.
