I have few albums encoded with Nero AAC. Normal playback works nice but when i rewind songs to begining foobar (0.7 RC11) popsup errormessage:

I also tryed john33 new mp4 plugin, but results was the same.

There's still a bug in same situation with Foobar2000 RC13. When i had enabled multiple plugins foobar just goes infitiy loop. I can barely shut down foobar. When i removed every other .dll exept kernel streaming, ui, mp4 and console foobar only stops sometimes. It will not stop every time when i move the seekbar to the begining and then it plays short and afull scrach sound. Console doesn't display any errors, but in foobar directory i have multiple errormessages.

cannot reproduce, foo_mp4 1.54 and waveout on win95

Can't reproduce either. Does it happen on all files for you or only some broken ones?

So i search the source of the problem and i found two reasons. first with every MP4 song it will play the short scrach sound when rewinded to beginging. Second problem related to previous. If i have Strong or soft ATH noise shaping on, foobar almost hangs and wont respond about 10 seconds and i have to keep cliking stop button all along.

Wav file in your original post sounds like incorrectly done mp4 file would sound like with old foo_mp4 version. Could you please reupload the original mp4 file and make sure to use binary mode, this file here isn't playable.

my foobar playing this file but with terrible sound, and my Winamp playing it correctly.

Uninstaller corruption has been dealth with in another thread.

Note: when I say foo_mp4 decodes files correctly I mean it decodes exactly identically as command line faad decoder. I downloaded very old faad from rarewares and can confirm that it does sound different from recent faad on low bitrate HE-AAC files. I'll ask menno to check the SBR speed enhancements he included some weeks ago.

Bitrate info is displayed incorrect at least with CBR files (nero) and after replaygain (QT6.3).
foobar2000 v0.7 final and foo_mp4 v1.58

So no reaction... Well With short samples for example 10sec long, after Replaygain scanning bitrate drops. I realy like to see fix for that.
