Where and when did you download RC11 ? Try redownloading RC11 from official site ? Post full list of dlls in your components directory ?

I know this doesn't have anything to do with the topic at hand, but downloading from the official site, that means that my computer WON'T blow up when I download it, right (I just downloaded v0.7 RC11 a few minutes ago)?

My computer is getting very old and it's not even mine, so I just want to make sure I am safe to restart, and know that it will boot back up.

I have full trust in the designers, because v0.6 was completely amazing, but I just would like to make sure.

Anybody know how to fix it?

I'm sorry to the person who started this thread, if someone answers me first, so I think everyone should actually answer the first post before mine.

Thanks a bunch, d00ds.

I used Case's installer downloaded from
http://www.saunalahti.fi/~cse/foobar2000/f...000_0.7RC11.exe on Sep. 3 and
now I know what's wrong with it. According your advice I downloaded official
RC11 and compared all its contents with Case's. File foobar2k.exe in Case's
installer differs from official one. After I replaced this file the problem has
gone. So I think Case should reassemble his pack with the correct version of
foobar2000.exe

OK, that explains it. There were two exe builds labelled "RC11", first one had this crash, but Garf noticed it before download links on foobar2000.org got updated, so I made a fixed exe and sent it to Case; apparently he forgot to update one of installers. Thanks for your feedback.
