first of all I wanted to say Hi to everyone here.
I have quiete a big music colletion at the moment and I have a nomad jukebox zen usb2 mp3 player.

Obviously I have some questions.

Currently I use EAC to rip my cds and use lame.exe in EAC (had to download lame seperatly). In "Compression options" I set lame.exe the to encode my music to use 320Kbit with the high quality setting ticked and no other additional command line parameters. Is this the best sound quality or not? any command line paramenters to make it sound better? (dont carre much about size)

where can I download the latest lame.exe file from? always have problems finding one.

whats MP3 Pro? will that work on my mp3 player? how do i implement it into EAC.

I currently use and creative audigy player sound card. is that a decent sound card of should I get a better one for playing music. (I do have a good HiFi)

thats it for all. sorry for being a noooobbb
we all start small.

Another format that uses MP3 + SBR (Spectral band replication). It's only usuful for low bitrates.
It will play AFAIK but the SBR info is not used and the point is lost.
