Does somebody know a linux tool like 'EncSpot' (for Windows) giving precise information about a mp3 file (which encoder used, bitrate etc...) ?

Well, theres a program called oidua that is written in python. All it does though, is determine if the file is --aps, --ape, CBR, but not the encoder version.

Yeah, but it frozen and detects good only lame version

EncSpot has yet to act up with WINE, so I'd recommend an EncSpot+WINE setup. Nothing else I've tried has come close. B)
