Is it ok to use SatCP's settings (other than the presets for the Lame encoder) for configuring EAC? Or should I use Chris Myden's? Should I enable the "Drive caches audio data" feature? SatCP says I shouldn't, but Chris Myden says I should.

Audio Caching is a drive-dependent setting.
You should do a "Detect Drive Features" on EAC's drive settings window 3 times. If it is the same three times, hit "apply" after the third one. Why 3 times? I had a drive a few years ago and sometimes it gave different settings THE FIRST TIME, but all subsecuent detections turned out the same.

If you enable "drive caches audio" in every drive it could be counterproductive.
All of the other Chris Myden setting should be OK.
