this drive has following features:

NO accurate stream in eac secure mode,
NO cashing,
NO C2 modes.

What do you think, know about reliability for extracting exact audio by this drrive ?
Is NO accurate stream ok (only slow ripping_speed as disadvantage), or is the extraction not reliable ?

As I owe one --- here's what I can say about it:

Offset --- yes, technically +354. Determined it myself months ago. But the drive isn't able to position its head exactly (lack of accurate stream).

Secure mode for this drive doesn't work as expected, the only real possibility to extract audio is burst mode and doublechecking the checksum, but, as I wrote, it sometimes repeats some samples, not only at the beginning of the file (when in most cases these samples are zeros smile.gif ).

What I think --- if you must rip with this drive, I would recommand burst mode. Making secure and exact 1:1 copy was impossible for me --- believe me, I tried a few months ago, when my LiteOn drive was serviced sad.gif
