all right, I goanna get a Apple so I was wondering if there is any good software to rip songs...something similar to Cdex would be cool smile.gif

I haven't heard of any ripper using other software than the ripper built into the system. IMO iTunes is the best bet so far - the fact that it can't rip at full speed would suggest there is some sort of error recovery in there.

Generally speaking, the built in support for audio CD's is good enough for most needs; an audio CD is mounted as a disk containing AIFC files. Any application or tool capable of reading them can rip a CD.
