Just about every feature that I could have hoped for and sometimes asked for has now been incorporated into FB2K.

Now the shuffle play "bug" rolleyes.gif has been "fixed" and so I am in heaven. But .... just one teensy little change, if possible. Would it be possible to add a checkbox in the config dialogs so that people could choose whther they want to have the back and next buttons work either as in the default (and intended) or "buggy" mode, or as in the "history" mode. If the "history" mode is checked, then hitting the back button would jump to the previous song played in the history. Ditto for the forward button.

hey, the history feature has come about even though the initial 'shuflle play bug' folks were politely told that they would have to live with the new and improved way of doing things. So why not make it a little bit easier to use the new feature?

Thanks. And regards,

K. Wise.

The "buggy" mode definitely isn't buggy for me, so I suggest we will just called it 'Default' mode. There are very specific definitions for a software bug, one of which includes 'not working as intended for ANY and EVERY user'. It works as intended for me, so it can't be a bug.
But anyway, your idea is noteworthy, and if enough support is garnered for it, well...

Hey, Default Mode is fine with me. No way am I implying that the current implementation of the forward and back buttons is a bug. When the current scheme was adopted, a number of folks, myself included, found it unusual to say the least. Some even called it a bug. This was quashed real quickly when PP informed us that it was the intended behaviour.

So, I was surprised when I found the history feature. I liked FB2K without it but, as I said, now that it is here, lets make it as good as possible.
