how do you decode mp3 to wav in fb2k? lame question i know, but i started using foobar recently. i remember in older versions you can do it by right-clicking a track in the playlist. i'm using fb2k 0.70 with the original configuration. sorry again if this is a dumb question.

Still the same:

Right click - convert - run conversion

You'll need to define your output directory in the settings though. Default is C:\

there is no such option available. i thought i should install the diskwriter component. when i put it in the components folder, i get "unable to load foo_diskwriter.dll" message when i start foobar

ok i figured it out.

And? What was the solution? Component version?
outscape
initially i had the lite version installed. then i tried to add the diskwriter component manually, but this didn't work. it failed to load. so, i just downloaded the normal 0.71 version and all is ok now

Components compiled for 0.7.1 won't load in 0.7 (and they don't give proper error messages because they use new utf8api.dll functions which weren't present in 0.7, so their dlls don't load at all).
