While trying to edit the ID3v2 information of mp3 files I get the following console message:

After the error both ID3v1 and ID3v2 information are completely gone.

I'm running foobar2000 0.7.1 on Win2K with an AMD Athlon 1GHz 512 MB RAM

Please let me know if your done with it so I can remove it again ;-)

P.s. I did install ID3v2 support and set the MP3 tag writing to ID3v2

Thanks, fixed. (Stupid bug with standard URL frame writing... I forgot to fix writing when I applied the same fix to reading back in 1.01.)

Is there an updated component I can download now?
Or will the fix be in the next official release of foobar?

You don´t need to wait a new official version.

Just go to Kode54´s page and download the ID3v2 tag support component.
click on "www" picture lower on his post or just go to http://www.cqasys.com/projects/kode54/

Cheers, I didn't know it was just the ID3v2 component causing the problems or that Kode54 is the one creating the ID3v2 component.

Just out of interest: how come the new version, of Kode54's website, is 133 Kb and the old version 55 Kb?

UPX compression. Case uses it. I don't. Just a matter of preference.
