Hi everyone,

I've just received my Rio Karma, it's working great but... I couldn't get Vorbis songs to play !

MP3 works file, FLAC works fine...

Just to be sure I downloaded a sample from www.vorbis.com but it doesn't work (I only hear a short click, then it goes to the next song).

Help.... Anybody ?

Regards

Edit: First thing I did was to upgrade firmware from 1.07 --> 1.11.

WOW, this was solved by downloading latest unofficial version of Rio Manager Lite, there:

http://www.inzyme.com/rio/index.html

It works under Linux !!!! (It's a Java program). wink.gif

Edit: The bug was that the file was tagged as "ogg" instead of "vorbis" upon transfer laugh.gif

How is the perfomance? Does it realy consume more power to play Vorbis Ogg?

The performance is good. It will be gapless in the next firmware release (mid-november).

It consumes almost twice the power when compared to 128kbps mp3, but battery life is still pretty nice (>6 hours I think).
