the desktop modding tool 'Samurize' supports getting the actual playing track from foobar2000!

Coolmon, another desktop info app has a foobar plugin as well, although I don't use it. I do display song info with foo_text though.

remove that link and post a less pornographic image please.

just to clarify; I love that pic, BUT this is one of those things that would cause me not to be able to browse this forum from work. I simply can't have such images when being at work.

Samurize's foobar support is quite bad. It only outputs your "Main window title" formatting, nothing else. At least this was the case when I last tried it. I also use foo_text for that, as that way I have much more power on what I can show.

Yea... the foobar support in samurize is a good step in the right direction, but I think using the textwriter-plugin (foo_text) to write a file and then simply getting the info from that file is gives more freedom in design.
