Hi,
today, I released another version of winLAME, rd12. It uses LAME 3.92, and among other things, can now use the libvorbis.dll from the RareWares site. The complete stuff is available at the winLAME home page.

As always, I'm happy to receive bug reports for that version!

winLAME is an encoder for several audio formats, including mp3 (MPEG Layer 3), Ogg Vorbis and more. winLAME lets you set up the encoding process with an easy-to-use wizard-style user interface.

winLAME rd12 was released today. It uses LAME 3.92, has a fix for decoding mp3 files (lockup at 100%), can now use libvorbis.dll (at RareWares), and has some other small fixes. The full version comes with the libvorbis.dll compiled by John33 on 2002-04-10.

winLAME should produce bit-identical output to the command line LAME. I've compiled another version of the nLAME.dll used in winLAME, which is a bit faster and produces slightly higher average bitrate.
