I've got a lot of 320Kbps Mp3 Files and most of them are around
10MB which made me think...

Converting the files
Mp3 ->wav->APE will NOT degrade quality right?(APE->Lossless)
Then will the files get smaller than the original mp3?

Thank you in advance.
AtaqueEG
NO.

APE file size averages 50-60% of original WAVE filesize (aproximately 10mb a minute of music)

You are correct, the APE file will be the same quality as the mp3. However, the files will not be smaller at all. You can expect similar compression to what you'd get from a straight cd rip to APE.

But you don't have to take my [edit: Or AtaqueEG's] word for it. Try it.

Doing that would roughly double the size of the audio files. Unsurprisingly there continues to be no such thing as a free lunch smile.gif
