Direct link to English driver

Since Creative's site is so terrible at direct linking I've quoted the entire release.
I happened to just be at the site, I don't own an Audigy(2) so I'm unable to say if there are any improvements, it would be interesting if they actually fixed their drivers though. B)

FYI the Audigy driver was updated also but no detailed info on changes.

I'm drunk, but let me just say.

Joy upon Joys.

At same time the new driver for Audigy 1 is out.
And I have red about EAX 4.0 too inside the package, is it possible?
Maybe this is the more important one, for us Audigy users that feel quite abandoned by Creative support since the version 2 is out. mad.gif

Audigy/Audigy2/Audigy2 ZS all use same DSP and all support EAX4. Audigy1 driver is for use with Audigy1 applications.

If you are using Audigy2 applications on Audigy1, then you should use Audigy2 driver on it.

But the installer tries to detect an Audigy 2 card when you use it; that means that one has to modify the ctcomp.dat file to detect the Audigy 1 first. There are many websites that show how to do it though, so it's quite a hassle-free procedure.

I'm using Audig 2 Zs driver at the Audigy 1.
I tried to install the 2 , but i wont let me ...
i gonna do some google to see how to edit the file sld told.
But if anyone wanna pm with the link , i would glady say thanks =D

[EDIT] no need anymore thanks... already found how

Using foobar's DirectSound 1 and 2 output plugin, playback dies particularly often. Appearently this seems to be the fault of the drivers because DirectSound v1 worked before.

ASIO works fine.

(This is not a bug report)

Is it just me or do others also have glitches with the new drivers? I'm using a bulk Audigy2. I noticed the glitches when playing back MP3s through Winamp and DirectSound, Hardware acceleration turned off. I typed on the keyboard and suddenly I heard those glitches... Would be interesting to know if somebody could reproduce that - could also be another error with my system (IDE, PCI, ...).

Weird... I just reinstalled the drivers and now it's gone... So much trouble with hardware these days. sad.gif

I am experiencing no glitches whatsoever. Luckily my card has it's own IRQ.

Umm, these glitches are still there, depends on which programs running etc.... now I installed the KX drivers and it's better... I think there is something broken with my mainboard drivers / Windows installation - have to check.

The card also has its own IRQ...
