*automatically* with a tagging tool?

so I want to "remove" all id2/3 tags use ape solely but want to keep any exisiting "art" preserved as separate jpg stored on hd where the corresponding mp3 is located. for that purpose a tagging tool has to "extract" the jpg and save it to hd before removing the id tag...

can tag do it? i haven't found out how.

you can use TGF to do that
( at least for once and then switch to a tagger that hadles APEv2 tags for your mp3's)
