I think it is an EliteGroup mainboard (due to the "PPLX"), but I will keep searching. smile.gif

Check out this tool: http://www.ami.com/support/mbid.cfm

It attempts to detect your motherboard based on some AMI BIOS strings.

That's a very old MoBo... I doubt that you will find BIOS for it anymore, but you can always try smile.gif

Sorry, I will try to make myself a little more clear smile.gif

In a previous post, you said:

I should have said "Thanks for providing a link to that tool from www.ami.com". I tried it out but it is unable to identify the motherboard. It might not be included in that tool from ami.com.

I hope that's a little more clear, and am very sorry for any misunderstandings.

Thanks for the help smile.gif

Oh, I understand now. The question marks confused me.
Anyway, I really think that the main board is from Elite Group. You might want to send them an e-mail and ask if they could provide any additional information. Almost every EG mainboard I saw has the P?LX string inside (even mine is a P6LX-A+ mainboard for Pentium II CPUs up to 333 MHz).

after doing a lot of googling. I have found that my motherboard does not exist blink.gif

The closest I have found is the following:

61-012A-004500-00111111-071595-440LX-PPLX012A-H (by Yakumo)
but for some reason it has the following string on my screen:
61-0126-004500-00111111-071595-440LX-PPLX0126-H (2 digits different!)

The only thing I can think of is, that my bios is corrupt and is displaying the incorrect string unsure.gif

Does anyone know if the 2 strings above are for the same motherboard, if yes, do you know where I can get an update for the bios smile.gif
