Playing mpc files works fine.
Tags are not shown. Is it normal behaviour ot have I done something wrong (I'm new to Linux and XMMS)?

Musepack support is poor under linux, there is only a xmms plugin, and this one don't support APEv2 tags.

If you're mpc files haven't good tag you can try
EasyTag it's a very good soft (many languages are availables), it can tag Musepack files and more formats..

Like i said, i use apev2 tags.
Id3v1 isn't able to contain all the metadata that my musepack files have. So i'll lose precious information.

The XMMS-Plugin on musepack.tk reads APEv2 Tags just fine.

I've heard of two cases of strange clipping problems though. But at least here it works flawlessly.
