Hi,

I'm currently involved with setting up an "Internet Radio Station". We initially aimed for all of the broadcasters on the station to use MP3Pro @ 24kbps because it allows modem listeners to tune-in, keeps our bandwidth costs down and delivers reasonable quality. However -- some of the broadcasters want to broadcast 128kbps MP3 streams.

I have a program called streamTranscoder (linux) which can connect to a shoutcast server and transcode the stream it receives to a lower bitrate for transmission via a second server but it does not support MP3Pro. Does anybody know of a program like this that has MP3Pro support or have any suggestions as to how a 128kbps MP3 stream and an MP3Pro stream could be broadcast at the same time without the broadcaster themselves having to send both streams to the server?

Thanks in advance for any help.
