What about using such a device "in real life"? Any experiences? Should I get a replacement or is this no problem...?

Got my IMP-550 today. After unpacking I found that the cover is rather shaky when closed. Is this just mine or does anyone else have the same thing.

There's a very tiny amount of shake here, about 1mm max. Never had any problems with mine in any form so far. If the lid on yours is more shaky, I would go back to the store and compare it with other samples.
