I am looking for a pair of portable speakers or small portable stereo with a line-in to be used wtih a portable HD-player (either a IHP or an Nomad). Looking for self powered with possibly AC optioal cord. Any suggestions on what would sound the best, but still be portable. I will be using it for 3 purposes I can think of, hotel room, 20x20 tilled room(OR room), and camping/outdoor parties. The last least frequently.

SONY makes a series of 110 volt AC speakers for this application. I have a pair, SRS-Z750, which have served me well. YMMV. YOU must listen to what is out there to decide what pleases you.
