maybe it is a newie question, but im a newie tongue.gif

it possible make ogg files from a CD Music whit more than 2 channels? (4 if you ask me)

Yep, the encoder can handle up to 255 channels!! wink.gif

it is hard to explain for me... (see my signature)

i want to make 4 channels (front and rear) ogg files... some kind of AC3 files or Surround effect... i really dont know if it is possible... because that im asking tongue.gif

If you got"""regular""2channels audio cd_stereo.......its a totally pointless to rip and encode to 4 cnannels........Unless its a one of those""new""multichannel audio-cds......Still.....if you use foobar.....you can convert it to 4channels..over a dsp manager in preferencies..Btw..for those multichannel cds..you`ll need more then 4 channels..
