Hi,

in the changelog of 0.74 there is a line:
Option to write id3v1, id3V2 tags

Where can I find this option, how to set FB2k to write only id3V1 tags to modified files?

2. Can Replaygain info be written to anything else than apev2 for mp3? For example ID3V2?

hi

1> Preferences->Input->Standard Inputs->Tag type to write

Here you can choose "id3v1 tags only"

2> It is already written to id3v2

Wow great! Finally!!!
Does this mean I have to unload the id3v2_plugin that just reads and deletes id3v2? Do I have to uncheck: Don't write modified tags to files?

AFAIK foobar writes Replaygain to APEv2 tags, even in MP3. Though I can have missed something.

foobar can write replaygain to APEv2 and ID3v2, but you can select which one you actually use.

And Matyas (are you Hungarian by chance?), I think you need the id3v2 plugin, only with that one can foobar read that kind of tags. And if you want tags written to your files, not only in foobar's internal database, you have to uncheck the option you mentioned.

I hope I'm correct smile.gif

Well that's a bit complicated. I think myself as a Hungarian, though I was born and I live in Slovakia...
