How to setup lowpassfilter on a source wave file while encode it to Vorbis?

the Wav file is 11025Hz and i want to encode it with -M18 as these file are Pure Voice Song type and need to stream it online.

without the filter its noisy. or should i apply lowpass filter to the wav before i ry to encode it with some wav editor? is there program to batch these task.

Second is i see P4 optimized package, is there Athlon XP optimized pacage as well biggrin.gif ? I would like those

To use the lowpass filter, add the following to the oggenc command line:

--advanced-encode-option lowpass_filter=n, where 'n' = the lowpass in kHz.

The standard compiles are already P3/AthlonXP optimised. I am an AthlonXP user myself so that was always going to be the case!! wink.gif

Thanks i run that command work well..

problem is the noise is still there, which lead me to think it has nothing to do with the lowpass filtering..
