Full Version: MPC 0.92L WinAmp plug-in artist/title display problems

Since upgrading to WinAmp plug-in 0.92L (and WinAmp 2.80) I have the following problem:

New tracks ripped and encoded with EAC 0.93B + MPC encoder 1.01i (from Klemm's pages) show artist and track titles as:

%1 - %2

for all tracks in WinAmp 2.80 (with plugin 0.92L) in the playlist.

This regardless of the fact that when I get "File Info" in WinAmp playlist for a particular track, the ID3V1.1 information is displayed correctly (that is: each track has been saved proper ID3V1.1 tags in EAC).

If I fall back to version 0.92K of the WinAmp plug-in then these display problems disappear and ID3V1.1 tags are displayed properly inside WinAmp playlist.

Is this a bug or is there a simple switch I've overlooked?

Any tips?

cheers,
Halcyon

hi,

frank changed the syntax for the id-tag display in 0.92l.
you simpy have to open the config-window and take a
look at the new syntax (e.g. %A instead of %1 for
displaying the artist).

0.92l doesn't even work on my computer. It causes Winamp to crash. I downgraded to 0.91 and that worked.

I experienced some weird lockups in WinXP from that plugin too, but since I replaced it with one of Case's compiles it hasn't happened again.

.zip is here. Try it!
