One minute ago i had written down a complain about how badly the fooloks plugin works for me the but now i prefer to simply ask this question (hi Angel biggrin.gif), how can i replace the clasic ui of foobar? I know the answer isn't so simple but then why do we have to use 2 windows for 1 player?

Also want to know if there can be a keyb shorcut ala "Activate or hide main window" instead "activate".

foo_looks remains as a component/complement because we'll always need a playlist, and the main window of foobar is a very good one, don't you think?.  smile.gif

so then, why the playlist can't be skinned as any other basic component that needs to be used for a proper replacement?

External components cannot have that level of control over a UI component's window(s).

The ultimate solution is for foo_looks to become a UI component and replace the playlist window. DEATH says it should be easy, since the playlist engine is in the core. The SDK example UI shows how to interface it.

Solution:

foo_tbar, minimize to tray.

No window, no fuss, just sound smile.gif
