I have Nero 6.xx and use Foobar to burn audio CDs for my car. However, CDs skip in my car if they are burned at any speed higher than 8x. Why? I have no idea, they just do.

How can I set the maximum burn speed to 8x when creating an audio CD directly from Foobar?

My temporary fix is to run conversion on a playlist, then open Nero and manually burn the CD. Not the end of the world, but it sure would be nice to be able to use the one click process in Foobar.

Also - does a Replaygain'd list carry over to Nero if conversion is used? Or is the replaygain data lost if conversion is used (can a WAV hold this info?)? Most of my CDs are mix CDS, that is why I ask. Thanks.

I take it by the lack of responses, there is no solution to this?

Use the Image Recorder to create NRG images, which can be burned with Nero. Slightly more elegant than the decode to wav option wink.gif. To "carry over" ReplayGain when using foo_diskwriter enable "Use replaygain" in its settings.
DEATH will add speed selection and maybe on-the-fly burning in a later release.

Not familiar with this - but I will play around and try and figure it out.
