I have a Lite-On LDW-411S DVD+/-RW drive inside a Belkin F5U210 FireWire/USB 2.0 enclosure and am trying to rip CDs with EAC. I have installed VOB's ASAPI, which should enable EAC to recognize USB drives. In EAC, I have selected VOB ASAPI as the interface. Strangely, EAC will not show me the drive in the drop-down list no matter what; the drive works fine otherwise. I don't understand why this happens because a while ago I had a Plextor external drive (also USB 2.0) which worked fine using EAC and ASAPI. In both cases the OS was Windows XP. Anyone have any ideas?

Download WNASPI32.DLL from nero.com and put it in your EAC directory, it should work for you.
