gday..

i have Batch Rename .exe installed.
and i need to get ex: "besweet_03_utterly_mad.mp3"
converted to "Track 03".. for direct decoding.. without having
re open them in a tagger.

the option in BRexe.. which will do almost is.:
replace
"document name" > "2 digit serial number"
the output will then be : 03.mp3
i need to add "Track" in the name.
there seem not to be any "known" command for this.

anyone can help me out here..
or is some other proggy better to do this.
i mean batch renamers.. not taggers.

Ciao,
I often use Total Commander for this kind of jobs. It has a powerful batch rename tool build-in.
However, it's shareware with a 30day test period. Registration costs $30

gday..

yes.. TC. is duable for this sheme..
infact TC. can do alot of usefull stuff.. but i don`t
like the interface.

1 - 4 rename is free (mailware ?)
and do this.. and a bunch more.
it`s small and simple enough.
but this frontend/gui is to messy for my taste..

for batch renaming.. i do prefer BRexe coz. it`s simplicity
and looks.. to bad it`s CPU hungry.

so any advice on BRexe is most welcome..
