Thanks Spoon

It's very generous of you to make this application freely available to us -- much appreciated

Somehow i had high hopes that dBpowerAMP would be the first music compression program that would be able to handle matroska audio files one day sad.gif .....
spoon
Could I twist you arm to write a codec? It is pretty simple:

ChristianHJW
dBpoweramp needed to have a much superior structure than other, comparable programs when matroska implementation was simply done by writing a 'codec' plugin. Wediscussed this problem already a lot for both winamp and foobar2k, it seems we needed to write a plugin that will emulate another instance of the app also, so that the plugins for the audio codecs can be reused from the container plugin sad.gif .....

Super easy smile.gif, lets take it to email:

any possibility to get the "Windows Explorer Integration - right click Convert To & popup useful information on audio files (such as bitrate, length)." without installing the whole program? or the same feature by another small program?
spoon
It is already small ~1.9MB - that if you really want to save 300KB you can manually delete the CD ripper part after install.

What's the status of Matroska support in dbPowerAMP?
spoon
Non existant.
