You can use the paste command, I don't know if x-chat will supoprt the actual scripting part that it uses..

you could use the textwriter plugin and then tell xchat to read info from that file...

dont know how, but in mirc it works like /say $read(filename.txt)

Or perhaps the best way would be using foobar's own copy command. Just go to titleformatting -> copy command and put there something like
CODE
'/me is listening to '%artist% - %title%

and bound a (global) hotkey to it (eg ctrl+shift+c) and you're done. Just press the hotkey and paste it to xchat and you're done.

Xchat uses perl for scripting and plugins, i dont know any perl and cant download activeperl right now due some issues i have with my computer and its not a virus issue just doesnt allow me to install things important because the either the CRC gets corrupted of a file gets corrupted so i havent been able to use important things like that, even though i cant ive used all kinds of anti viruses and scanned using thoruogh scanning if anyone knows perl they could make a plugin for xchat that would beable to read whats playing on foobar2000 and shows it on Xchat, Xchat is for unix and windows but theres only a really old version of it thats free otherwise you just pay around $20 for the updated version and not have to pay for any other updates, you can check it out and find info about it to see if you can make a plugin for it at http://www.xchat.org so its way differant from mIRC and inorder to use the plugins youll also have to download activeperl or a simular perl thing, but activeperl is free wink.gif
