I've tried several times to install the current fb2k, w/ only partial success. With earlier versions, the install completed w/o error, but the app didn't work, and I never had time to diagnose it. The current install provides an error log (yeah!) and something is clearly very wrong, although I am able to play .shn files (I haven't tried anything else yet). Here's the error log:

On subsequent starts, foobar2000.exe reports: "The procedure entry point WMCreateSyncReader could no tbe located in the dll WMVCore.dll" and then opens, giving the same error console reproduced above.
I have, of course, uninstalled and reinstalled a few times.
Running WinXP on a PC running Apache, PHP, Furthur and a whole mess 'o other things, 24/7, without much trouble. I have had, in the past, some difficulty for having a non-standard (or non-up to date) C runtime library, but that doesn't strike me as being the issue.
One other factiod: I checked the box for WMA support, which required downloading a componant of WMP 9.0. The d/l failed, however, and that componant didn't install.
Is it possible that fb2k is relying on old .dll files that the installer won't overwrite?
