ok,I've seen a lot of people who would be potential OGG users,
but once they figure out that there isn't any way to write
OGG directly to audio cd's,they stick to mp3.
When is this gonna change?Does anyone know if NERO programmers have any such plugin planned?
Do I miss any other program out there able to do OGG
decoding on-the-fly?
I hate to think I should wait for 1.0, it seems still far away...

and what about the cd burner plugin for winamp that supposedly can write from any format winamp can read
also media jukebox can write from any of his supported formats and ogg it's on his list
I've tried to contact Nero about 5 times about writing an MPC or OGG plugin for Nero and they are never in the office and never return any calls or emails. I've even explicitly stated that I would do it for free.
You'd think they would want to increase their userbase by supporting more formats, but I guess not.

It is frustrating,I need to back up my ogg files but cant do it!
I suggest a concerted barrage og presure from the users here, maybe then they'll take notice.

Ahead is about to introduce a plugin structure, but it has taken them quite a bit of time. Something like month or two ago I asked about this, but I have lost the email so I don't have the release date..

Don't rub it into those poor Windows users
Let's not talk about KDE's integrated ogg support, shall we

I'm really surprised there isn't a program available to do it in windows...... I guess it's a general lack of open source software for windows, esp burning software.
