Full Version: Checking integrity of OGG audio ?

I have a few OGG files I've ripped/encoded myself, but they've suffered a hard drive write error or two and have "corrupt" parts. You can listen to the OGG files in Foobar, but every so often it will blip. Foobar doesn't report this error in the status window, though. Does OGG support some sort of CRC frame checking, and/or is there a utility to scan an OGG file and verify it is indeed intact?

Thanks in advance, and sorry if this question has been answered prior. I searched the forums and could find nothing.

ogginfo from the standard vorbis-tools distribution will let you know if it finds any CRC errors in the files you point it at.
