I have all my mp3's at 320 bitrate using EAC and Lame but I would like to save some space on my notebook and ipod. What program can I use to convert these mp3's to a lower bitrate? Thanks
Don't forget the usual disclaimer: This procedure is not lossless, make sure to save your original MP3s! Also, 320 to 192 doesn't make so much sense for a portable; if anything, i'd suggest transcoding to 128 kbps. For the future, consider ripping with LAME --alt-preset standard, so the files will be of good quality, yet small enough not to justify transcoding for you.
