I just took a look at that unit and it is sweet. Do not know if it exists or is a prototype. I wonder where they stuff the 137GB of storage?

In any event as I'm sure you know iRiver offers a HD player that supports ogg. The current model is 20GB and sound super given the fact it is a portable.

Toss the standard earbuds in the trash if you get one of these units and also be forwarned that there is no way in the world you will get anything close to 16 hours of playback using ogg vorbis. That 16 hour claim is based on 128kbps mp3 encoded using CBR. sad.gif

On the up side if they (iRiver) ever issue a firmware upgrade to improve battery life then you will have a smoken litttle unit.

I have one with oggs rippped at q8 which now includes over 1700 tracks and the HD is about 60% full. Something in excess of 110 hours of music.

Good Hunting
