I have a Creative Inspire 4.1 (and my SBLive! 4.1 as well, kinda old). I was doing some testing in the sound configuration here and I came out with this doubt. You guys know about sound a lot more then I do, so maybe someone could help me.

Should I set Master Volume on Windows at 100% (loudest) or at 50%? I know at 50% the overall sound would be lower, but someone once told me that Inspire's amp is a lot better than Live's. So it is advised to use Inspire to increase the sound volume, instead of Live.

What do you guys think? What's the best setting? Thanks a lot.

I would recommend setting the master volume in Windows at 50% or lower all the time. Otherwise you get some pretty bad hissing, try playing with the master volume with headphones pluged into your front speaker jack. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. :x :x :x
