But version 7.2 or older only. The latest (version 8) has its own plugin architecture.

Apollo: http://www.hut.fi/~hylinen/apollo/

Currently I'm looking for people who want to make a MAD decoder plugin for this excellent audio player.

Hmmm... Apollo only supports visualization, DSP and general purpose Winamp plugins. It can't recognize input & output plugins.

You can try K-jofol
This link points to the last version:

It's dead now because the author started working on Winamp.

QCD Player uses Winamp DSP plugins. I'm quite impressed by that software, I'd consider it a serious alternative to Winamp! smile.gif

Do any of these players play video files?

Media Jukebox 8.0 also supports Winamp plugins. Both input and DSP...

Input plugin functionality is quite crippled (playback only, no tagging or file information features).

EDIT: MJ also plays back video files. All kinds are supported (unfortunately, Real and QuickTime players need to be installed for those formats).

http://www.musicex.com/mediajukebox - You can download 7.2 or 8.0 from the download page. 8.0 is highly recommended (even though it's still beta).

What about windows media formats?

If it supports WinAMP input plugin's, it will support Peter's WMA input plugin.
