If I go to
My Controls | Edit Profile info I get this:

Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.
The error returned was:
You are not allowed to use this part of the board
I know I've been there several months ago - something got broken?

For what it's worth, I can open the page without an error, and I can save a profile change, so I doubt it's a problem with the site.
Could there be any configuration problem with your browser or connection that might be trying to access the wrong port?

I tried IE6 and NS4.7 (in which the site looks a disaster, incidentally), and IE6 on my other computer (behind the same router though) all with the same results - no permission.
No problem here either. I suspect the "Developer" membergroup has had the "Can edit profile info" setting disabled by mistake. Just a guess.

Hmm... That is strange. I cannot confirm this with Mozilla 1.5.

Netscape 4.7 does not support CSS almost at all.
Until an admin has looked into it, I can offer to change something for you. I have access to "Website", "Location", "Interests", "Signature".
Apparently ipb1.3 didn't fix it. I still get this "this menu has been disabled" message. Fortunately I don't need it at the moment.
I'm affraid someone would need to look into the ipb source to find out where this message comes from.

I also have this problem. So, it must be a developer status problem.
The problem persists but I noticed that the same error (or at least very similar) occurs when you try to brovse nonexistent thread.
Maybe there is some database problem like missing user profile row.
And I noticed this problem when I wasn't in developer group yet so it shouldn't matter.
