I've used the 1.0.1 builds thanks to john33 for my windows machine, but its not my main machine for encoding oggs. I have compiled vorbis from source before without error, but when 1.0.1 was released, it failed (and has since from CVS) when tryuing to compile FLAC support. Posted to the vorbis list and someone relied mentioning that evidently FLAC support was broken across the board. Thats cool and all and I can live without it, but the release wont compile period, even with the FLAC options turned off in the compile.

Sooo, I guess this goes along with the other thread of what features we would like (cross compatibility worked on), and also a request to anyone who might have gotten it to compile (how did you do it)?
