The new AAC encoder was already in the NeroVision update from 25th Dec.

Ok.. That's nice.. but does everyone use NeroVision ?

any word on the "official" ogg vobris support working in this release?

what miracle have you now made in the aac encoder

i would also like to know that, because a test encode with a 109 minutes long WAV file (a movie soundtrack) gave me exactly the same result with 2.6.1.1 as with 2.6.0.6

Changes from Nero 6.3.0.0 to 6.3.0.2

Nero Burning ROM / Nero Express:
- Prevent Nero Burning ROM / Nero Express from closing when it is currently burning has been fixed
- The pause settings of Video CD and Super Video CD compilation was not taken into account in some circumstances has been fixed

Nero Burning ROM:
- Fixed incorrect handling of DVD-Video burn process

AAC Transparent preset still says 110-150k

160-190 (average 175) would be a lot closer to the truth, and that is with wavegained files. very hot CD are over 200 on average sometimes, but thats extreme case I guess

edit: Ivan/menno, are you appyling a --scale while encoding? (like lame preset, to prevent to most outrageous clipping). I noticed when encoding wavgained (89dB) albums, they always end up around 0.15 dB more quiet after encoding.

Would be nice to have an expert settting dialog for such things in the future.. minor thing of course
